IT’S MID-JUNE as I am writing this and I
hope we can find a way to turn off Mother
Nature’s penchant for windy and rainy
weekends! In spite of this, fun-flies, warbird
meets, FF events, and CL contests are being
held—albeit with numerous interruptions.
The Salem County R/C club held a funfly
contest in Woodstown, New Jersey, on
May 4. CD Joe Sarbello did a good job
organizing this competition and the field is
an excellent place to fly.

AMA HAS a presence on YouTube.
Members can help increase our
attractiveness with advertisers just by
regularly going to our YouTube site.

OUR FUTURE lies in our youth. We all
say this and it is true. I would like to start a
new feature where our young modelers who
are involved with their clubs in helping to
promote our hobby are recognized.
Executive Vice President - 2012/02
IT IS THANKSGIVING and I have a few
minutes after a great day with family, food,
football, parades, and simulator time. I
know it is corny, but this is the principal
day when we think about what we are
thankful for. The obvious is our family and
friends, our employers, our country, and our
military—they are our life and protectors of
our culture. I am thankful for my wife,
Diane, and my children, who always stand
by me. Serving on the Executive Council is
a commitment of much time and travel, and
this wouldn’t be possible without their
support.

grabbed your attention. This is a call to
action for every AMA member—not just RC
fliers—to help us secure the future of all
