District II-2011/09

THE 10TH ANNUAL District II Fun-Fly
will be held September 23-25 at the Polo
Field in Gilbertsville, New York. Our host
club this year will be the Oneonta Radio
Control Flyers (ORCF) and the CD will be
none other than Al Kanser, District II Safety
Officer and also of International Miniature
Aircraft Association (IMAA) fame.

AS REPORTED in the February issue of
MA, District II’s own Bob Aberle put another
notch on his transmitter when he was
presented with the Zaic Award by none other
than John Worth, recognizing Bob for his
outstanding achievements in model aviation.
Bob is the holder of many prestigious awards,
including Model Aviation Hall of Fame.
