District II Report - 2010/06
SEPTEMBER 25 is the date for the 2010
District II Fun-Fly. This year’s event will be
hosted by the Pennsylvania Avenue Radio
Control Society (PARCS) at Floyd Bennett
Field in Brooklyn, New York. The event
will run from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
This is a great venue for all types of RC
model aircraft and features a concrete
runway. PARCS has developed a reputation
for putting on an impressive event, so please
join us.
District II - 2010/10
LOCATED in the southernmost section of
Cedar Creek Park is the Aerodrome. Since
1975, it has provided a great facility for RC
aeromodelers to enjoy their hobby.

vice president from Lockport, New York,
attended several of his club’s events this past
year and sent the following report.

DISTRICT II was fortunate to have the
talents of Doug Crawford develop our
district’s Web site and he did a terrific job.
Doug has moved to the Midwest and we
need to find a volunteer with phpBB
programming knowledge and time that he or
she can devote to maintaining and updating
our Web site. Please contact me by

AMA News District II - 2009/05
IT SEEMS that all of the trade shows were
down in vendor participation and the 2009
Westchester Radio AeroModelers
(WRAM) Show followed this pattern. The
vendors I spoke with though were quite
happy with the show attendance and this is
encouraging.
