The Alamogordo RCers, a small RC aviation club in New Mexico, partnered with the New Mexico Museum of Space History to create a community exhibit on model aviation. This collaboration began with a simple inquiry about an exhibit featuring RC history. The club, which actively engages in community service, aimed to raise awareness about their activities. The partnership led to a successful STEM event, where visitors learned about aviation technology through interactive displays. Over months, the exhibit expanded to occupy the museum's second floor, showcasing various model aircraft and educating youth. This initiative exemplifies how small clubs can impact their communities by fostering collaboration with local institutions.
