District VII experienced extreme winter weather, with record snowfall in parts like Green Bay and Wausau, while others enjoyed warm conditions. The Green Bay Model Airplane Club hosted a group build of Messerschmitt Bf 109E models, with most participants new to foam board modeling. The Lone Tree Flyers in Iowa will host their 5th Annual Fun Fly on June 12-13, showcasing diverse model aircraft. The Marshalltown RC Flyers will hold the Hazel Sig-Hester Memorial Fun-Fly on August 8-9 to honor the late modeling icon.
