**Flying Wing Nutz Fun Fly Event**: On September 6, 2025, the Flying Wing Nutz, Club 4438, hosted its annual Fun Fly in St. Marys, WV. Twenty-two pilots registered, including eight cadets from the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Parkersburg Composite Squadron. The club provided hands-on flying experience and surprised the CAP with an RTF airplane package. They aim to continue supporting aeronautical education.
**Harrisburg Area Flying Society’s Community Outreach**: On October 11, 2025, HAFS hosted CAP Dauphin County Composite Squadron 306 for a picnic and RC flying lessons. The event attracted 42 guests, including cadets and families, with flight demonstrations and buddy-box opportunities. Special thanks to those who contributed to the event's success.

District III
This month, the focus is on the priceless value of club flying fields with FAA-Recognized Identification Area (FRIA) status, allowing safe flying exempt from Remote ID. Clubs are encouraged to install signs at field entrances to showcase this achievement. The Ona RC Club hosted a successful aviation event for local kids, providing full-scale airplane rides and RC flying experiences. The Champlain Valley Flyers welcomed new members and held impressive events at their new site. Additionally, the Uxbridge Youth Soccer League's RC Airshow raised funds for soccer field renovations, featuring skilled pilots and engaging activities.

LCRRC held its second annual Fallen Friends Fun Fly on June 14, 2025, featuring flying activities and door prizes. The event honors missing members and fosters community. In September, the club's annual Charity Fly raised record donations for Anchor Lancaster. Meanwhile, District III is experiencing heavy snowstorms, yet clubs continue to fly.
