In February, I attended the 8th Annual Florida eJet Fest in Mulberry, the DeLand Winter Air Fest, and the Southeastern Modelers Show in Perry, Georgia. Notable events included 46 pilots at the eJet Fest and over 200 vendors at Perry. Welcome to the Champlain Valley Flyers to District I, with exciting events planned at their new site in New York. Stay safe and fly a lot!

Most events are Class C, allowing for a 100-mile protection radius from similar events. Avoiding conflicts is crucial for attracting attendees and sponsors. If conflicts arise, the final decision may fall to the VP. Clubs should coordinate dates for mutual benefit. Contact the VP or Associate VPs with questions.

Welcome to the Model Aviation "Newcomers" issue! This month, we focus on attracting new club members. Successful clubs actively recruit and train newcomers, unlike those that resist change. Suggestions include hosting monthly training nights and participating in local events to showcase the hobby. Share your ideas on growing membership!
