Get Building!

Web: In this month’s “Old-Timers” column, on page 42, Bob Angel remembers a few of the greats in our modeling community. One of the greats featured is J.C. “Madman” Yates, the creator of the Madman model airplane. You can buy the plans for the Madman on AMA’s Plans Service website at plans.modelaircraft.org/product/madman.

Bob also gives a shoutout to Bob Holman, the founder of Bob Holman Plans Service, in his “Old-Timers” column. After Bob Holman’s passing last December at the age of 94, his son, Rick, took over the business, where you can find plans for antique Free Flight models, high-quality Scale models, and more. You can visit the website and grab a couple (or several) plans for yourself at bhplans.com.
