Traditionally, I’ve used the March issue to showcase some of our hardiest fliers who brave the elements to get a flight in on the very first day of the year. As you can see, some of these clubs have been out there regardless of the weather for many years.

This year, I noticed there is an AMA blog that has followed our lead and shows clubs from across the country. Still, here in the outback of the US, most of our fliers have to do much more than put on a baseball cap and a coat.

I’ll lay down a challenge to members in any other district to come and fly with us next New Year’s Day.
