AMA’s History Project
Web: AMA’s History Project biographies and autobiographies are great ways to obtain more knowledge about our hobby and those in it, as emphasized by Bob Angel in his “Old-Timers” column on page 50. Bob wrote that he thought he knew his friend, the late Jack Albrecht, pretty well, until he read his autobiography and learned “that there was lots more to his story than [he] realized.”

Web: On page 32, Pat Trittle details the construction of the Wanderer, a 21-inch wingspan, 20-inch long, 55.5-gram Free Flight (FF) Sport biplane that equips a 7-inch propeller. Pat reports that it is “extremely stable in the air” and “a great way to break into FF biplanes.”

Guided Tours of the National Model Aviation Museum
Web: The National Model Aviation Museum is full of intriguing and exciting model aviation history. If you’ve never visited the museum (or even if you have!), consider scheduling a guided tour this year! The knowledge that you’ll receive is sure to make it a tour that you’ll never forget.
The National Model Aviation Museum opens for the season in just a few months! To schedule a guided tour, email education@modelaircraft.org or call (765) 287-1256, ext. 514. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance. Potential availability ranges from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET Mondays through Thursdays.
