RADIO CONTROL SCALE - 2004/08

LAST MONTH I took up the subject of color in regards to Scale
static judging in competition as well as in Scale modeling in
general. I listed sources of color chips for different eras of aircraft
and included the universally accepted Federal Standard 595B
book from the United States Department of Specifications
Section.

comes out, the contest season will be
starting in earnest in most parts of the
country. My usual first stop of the year is
at Top Gun in Florida, but I can’t make it
this year. Therefore, the Mint Julep Scale
Meet in May will be my first event.

RADIO CONTROL SCALE 2003/06

IT’S FLYING SEASON in most of the
country, but we are expecting another
snowstorm as I write this. Other than for
the building time, I’m ready for the winter
of 2002/2003 to be over! Soon it will be
time to take the vacuum to the shop and
clean up all of the sawdust and balsa
shavings, used sandpaper, and other
assorted junk that has accumulated during
the winter building season.
