From October 22-25, 2025, the Clovis Area Modelers hosted the inaugural California Jets event at Peg Field in Reedley, California, attracting over 90 pilots, including international participants. Highlights included awards for standout models and pilots, such as Gabriel Pellegrini's MiG-15 winning Best of Show and Shane Roswell receiving the Bob Hoover Best Pilot Award. The event featured impressive demonstrations, a barbeque competition, and an auction, with proceeds supporting the club's mission to promote model aviation. The next event, Jets Over California, is scheduled for April 29-May 2, 2026.
