Control Line: Racing
UNLESS YOU'RE LIKE ME and wait until the last minute or you're one of those disgusting people who finished last January, I'll bet you're in the middle of your Christmas shopping. What do you tell your relatives and friends who ask what they should get you? What do you buy for a Control Line racer? Actually, there are many gifts you can get: engines, wheels, control lines, handles, fast-fills, kits, tanks, bellcranks, balsa, music wire, basswood, plywood, adhesives, paint, fiberglass cloth, resins, pins, clamps, and a myriad of other consumables. You can get most of these items at hobby shops, but what about those super-go engines? I'm not talking about stock items on the shelf. Where do you find the trick bellcrank you saw on the winning model at the last contest? What about that neat fiberglass shell that whatshisname from Corkscrew Junction, next state over, built his model around? There are many specialty items for various types of racers, but where do you get them?
