IL-2 Stormovik - 2007/10
Sport modelers will find that this Ilyushin tank buster is armored for fun
EASILY RECOGNIZED by World War
II-airplane fans, this model is of the
Russian Ilyushin Il-2 Stormovik groundattack
aircraft that worked so well during
the war. More Stormoviks were built than
any other combat aircraft that any other
nation used in the conflict.
The Easy - 2008/09
I WAS LEARNING how to fly inverted
50-some years ago, and it wasn’t going very
well. I needed another airplane. A local
older modeler had given me a stack of Air
Trails magazines, and in the April 1949
issue I found plans for Frank Ehling’s Easy.
I crudely scaled up the plans from the pagesize
drawings and scratch-built my version.
Right Angle - 2004/05
If you’re looking
for an easy-to-build
sport aerobatic model,
your search has ended!
Little Fast - 2010/06
AGAIN, I FOUND a reason/excuse to
build a new model. A Magnum .70 fourstroke
that I had bought for another
project didn’t work out, so it was
available.
The engine was broken in and had
been flown a few times, with good
performance. I figured that a .46 twostroke-
size airframe for aerobatics,
sport, and fun would be a good project.
Lotsa Amps - 2006/06
An electric aerobat
sized to suit the
sport modeler. Build
as-is or modify the control
surfaces to add shock value
