District Associate Vice President
(AVP) Bob Kilmon invited me to
attend the New Hampshire Flying
Tigers (NHFT) third Multi-Club
Fly-In. NHFT hosted the event at
its B Street flying site in Derry, in
cooperation with two other popular
New Hampshire clubs: the Southern
NH Flying Eagles based in Merrimack
and the Southern NH RC Club
located in Hudson.
AMA News: District I-2007/12
THE 2007 outdoor flying season has come
to an end and most of us are focusing on
building that something new for next year or
flying indoor aircraft at some of the
available facilities. If your club has an
indoor site and would welcome other AMA
members to fly at the facility, send me an Email
with the location, dates, and times for
flying.
District I - 2010/08
ON APRIL 24, 2010, the Boys & Girls
Club of Central Massachusetts held its
annual Family Day event at its headquarters
in Leominster, Massachusetts.
District I - 2010/09
EACH YEAR, AMA funds allocated to the
District I budget are used to sponsor flying
events or aeromodeling activities with AMA
chartered clubs.
District I - 2008/09
THE MOST popular AMA club activities
are non-rule book fun-fly events that are
open for flying all types and categories of
aircraft. There are clubs whose members
seek to spice up their fun-fly events by
providing competition-type activities. These
fun-fly competitions involve flying tasks
that are timed or tasks to complete missions
for scoring points.
